Temasek Cares Individual Transitional Aftercare Programme
Partners: iC@RE, Yellow Ribbon Fund
Temasek Cares works with partners - iC@RE Hub and the Yellow Ribbon Fund, to develop the Temasek Cares - Individual Transitional Aftercare Programme (iTAP). This pilot programme provides a structured residential aftercare services in a secular setting for newly released female ex-offenders and those recovering from addictions (substance and/or behaviour).

Yellow Ribbon Fund Temasek Cares Star Award
Partners: Yellow Ribbon Fund
The Yellow Ribbon Fund Temasek Cares Star Award provides financial assistance to needy ex-offenders by helping them to upgrade themselves and achieve self-sufficiency through further studies and eventually, gainful employment.




FY 2013-2014

Temasek Cares Support for Students from Dysfunctional Families
Partner: Assumption Pathway School
Under the Temasek Cares Support for Students from Dysfunctional Families programme, family social workers from the school visit the students in their homes to help them overcome challenges which affect their emotional well-being and attendance at school.

Temasek Cares Club HEAL Mental Health Programme
Partner: Club HEAL, Agency for Integrated Care
The Temasek Cares Club HEAL Mental Health programme helps more individuals with mental health challenges to understand their condition and to come forward for psychiatric rehabilitation. The programme integrates social, educational, occupational, behavioural and cognitive interventions in its approach to psychiatric rehabilitation.

Temasek Cares Employment Support Services
Partner: Singapore Anglican Community Services
A programme by Temasek Cares and Singapore Anglican Community Services to help persons recovering from mental illness to gain employment and to reintegrate into society.

Temasek Cares STAR Award for Ex-Offenders
Partner: The Yellow Ribbon Fund
The STAR Award programme offers bursaries to financially needy ex-offenders for vocational training to help them gain employment.

YouthReach
Partner: Singapore Association for Mental Health
YouthReach helps children and youths with mental illness to cope with their illness and to reintegrate into society. Funding from Temasek Cares will help to enhance the programme with a mentorship component and a 24-hour helpline.



FY 2011-2012

Crisis Shelter Services for Abused Women and Children
Partner: Casa Raudha Women Home
Casa Raudha Women Home is a new crisis shelter that provides a safe haven for abused women and their children. Under the programme, the women and children are provided with counselling, advice and financial assistance to help rebuild their lives.

Temasek Cares - Programme to Provide Family Social Work
Partner: Assumption Pathway School
This pilot programme provides family social work for students who come from challenging home environments. A team of social workers will visit families in need and provide counseling or link them up to existing social help schemes.

Temasek Cares – Programme to Engage Parents of At-risk Students
Partner: Northlight School
The programme helps at-risk students to build familial bonds and overcome challenges in the home. A Parents Coordinator has been recruited to organise more activities and to work with families.

Temasek Cares – Programme to Provide Continuing Support for Graduates
Partner: Northlight School
The programme provides continuing support for Northlight graduates to help them adjust to their new school or work environment. An Alumni Coordinator has been recruited to increase the level of support given.

EQUAL (Equine-Assisted Learning)
Partner: Equestrian Federation of Singapore
The EQUAL programme helps youths to learn life and vocational skills through horse riding and caring for the horses.

The programme helps at-risk students to build familial bonds and overcome challenges in the home.
