Partners: iC@RE, Yellow Ribbon Fund
Temasek Cares works with partners - iC@RE Hub and the Yellow Ribbon Fund, to develop the Temasek Cares - Individual Transitional Aftercare Programme (iTAP). This pilot programme provides a structured residential aftercare services in a secular setting for newly released female ex-offenders and those recovering from addictions (substance and/or behaviour).
Based on a 'housing first' philosophy, the transitional accommodation facility delivers a safe and affordable shelter for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of admission. The temporary accommodation is complemented with individualised support in areas such as emotional, psychological, employment, family reconciliation, financial aid, and addiction management.
With help and support during their journey of recovery and transition to normalcy after their release, this programme will empower them towards obtaining permanent housing, live a productive life free of addictions and successfully reintegrate into the wider community.
