Temasek Foundation Cares – Dementia Hospice Care
Partner: Assisi Hospice
Under the new two-year pilot Dementia Hospice Care programme, patients with advanced dementia will receive specialised care to manage their unique symptoms, for instance, better control and management of pain or discomfort.

Temasek Foundation Cares – Paediatrics Hospice Care
Partner: Assisi Hospice
Children with life-limiting medical conditions like cancer, blood disorders, congenital malformations or organ failures which require regular access to specialised paediatric care and equipment can now turn to an inpatient care service in the first paediatrics hospice care programme instead of staying in an acute care institution.

Stay Prepared- Business Psychological Resilience Programme

Partners: Agency for Integrated Care, Alzheimer's Disease Association, AWWA, SASCO Hong Kah North Day Care Centre for the Elderly, The Salvation Army
Based on projections by the Ministry of Social and Family Development and Ministry of Health, the number of elderly in Singapore is expected to reach 900,000 by 2030, and those requiring aged care is estimated to be around 117,000.

Temasek Foundation Cares - Senior Eye Rehabilitation (SEER)
Partners: Agency for Integrated Care, National University Hospital, Singapore National Eye Centre, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Service Providers
Low vision is commonly defined as visual impairment that cannot be corrected by prescriptive glasses or medical intervention, and that hinders daily activities. Currently, there are no standardised or structured programmes for low vision rehabilitation that will help clients transit to community care where they can learn how to cope with low vision and maintain functional abilities at home.

Helping Families in Need Access Signposts Training
Partner: KK Women's and Children's Hospital
Signposts for Building Better Behaviour (Signposts) is a programme to help families manage difficult behaviours of children (aged 3 to 15 years) who have developmental needs or intellectual disabilities. Developed in Australia, it is designed to help parents work out the reasons for their child's behaviour, learn effective ways to manage and prevent more difficult behaviour from developing in the future.

EQUAL (Equine-Assisted Learning) Programme for Spectra Secondary School
Partner: Spectra Secondary School
An equine therapy programme run by Equal Ark Singapore, EQUAL (EQUine-Assisted Learning) is aimed at equipping vulnerable youths with social, communication and life skills. Some Spectra students require more help in building self-esteem and confidence, as well as in socialising with peers. EQUAL would thus be beneficial in helping them develop greater confidence and emotional maturity.

Temasek Foundation Cares - Kids Integrated Development Service (KIDS) 0-3 Centre
Partners: KK Women's and Children's Hospital, AMKFSC Community Services
Studies show that children of socially and economically disadvantaged parents are at higher risk of compromised development by the time they enter pre-school. In July 2014, the Temasek Foundation Cares - KIDS 0-3 Programme was launched to provide a comprehensive spectrum of care through a multi-layered and integrated health and social care support system. The Temasek Foundation Cares - KIDS 0-3 Centre was subsequently opened in October 2015 as a venue in the community for social networking and support.

Stay Prepared - Trauma Network for Children
Partners: KK Women's and Children's Hospital, Community Organisations, Madrasahs under Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS), Schools under the Ministry of Education, Special Education Schools, Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs)
In April 2014, Temasek Foundation Cares and KK Women's and Children's Hospital launched a three-year pilot programme, Temasek Foundation Cares KITS (Kids in Tough Situations), to build the capability of the community in providing trauma therapy for children. The Stay Prepared - Trauma Network for Children builds on the success of the Temasek Foundation Cares KITS programme.

Balaji Sadasivan Healthcare Building Capability Project
Partners: Agency for Integrated Care, Institute of Technical Education, Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic
The Balaji Sadasivan - Healthcare Building Capability Project aims to build manpower capability in the Intermediate and Long-Term sector to serve the needs of Singapore's ageing population. Since 2010, a total of 38 study awards have been given to students in the fields of occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nursing and health services management.

Ee Peng Liang Special Needs Building Capability Project
Partners: National Council of Social Service, Nanyang Polytechnic, National University of Singapore, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic
The Ee Peng Liang - Special Needs Building Capability Project was set up in 2011 to train skilled manpower like early intervention teachers and therapists to serve the special needs sector. Since 2011, 41 study awards have been given to individuals with a passion to serve in this sector.

A first of its kind, the Temasek Cares - Programme Dignity programme is a dedicated and holistic palliative home care service which supports persons with dementia as they live out their remaining lives with dignity.

Balaji Sadasivan - Healthcare Building Capability Project
Partners: Agency for Integrated Care, Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Institute of Technical Education
The Balaji Sadasivan - Healthcare Building Capability Project offers study awards to help the Intermediate and Long-Term Care (ILTC) sector recruit and train more skilled healthcare professionals. Upon graduation, the award recipients will serve in an approved ILTC institution of their choice for an agreed period of time.

Ee Peng Liang - Special Needs Building Capability Project
Partners: National Council of Social Service, Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, National University of Singapore
The Ee Peng Liang - Special Needs Building Capability Project offers study awards to attract and train more skilled manpower in the special needs sector. Award recipients must have passion for the sector and upon completion of their studies, serve in an approved voluntary welfare organisation for a period of time after graduation. Since 2011, 41 study awards have been given out to students who read Early Childhood or Therapy related courses at the local polytechnics and university.

Temasek Cares - Kids Integrated Development Service (prenatal to 3 years old)

Temasek Cares KIDS 0-3 is a community-based programme aimed at optimising the developmental potential of children from vulnerable families, starting from pregnancy up to the age of three years. The programme model was developed based on evidence from early childhood learning, support and intervention programmes. Temasek Cares KIDS 0-3 is designed with the view that young children need positive and warm relationships, rich learning opportunities, and a safe environment to thrive and develop to their full potential.

Temasek Cares - FRENZ
Partner: 4PM (Persatuan Persuratan Pemuda Pemudi Melayu), Institute of Technical Education
The Temasek Cares - FRENZ is a mentoring and school social work programme for Institute of Technical Education (ITE) students. The programme was initiated by 4PM (Persatuan Persuratan Pemuda Pemudi Melayu) to help youth build resilience, develop character and complete their post-secondary education.

Temasek Cares - Academic Support Programme for Students with Learning Needs

TThe Temasek Cares - Academic Support Programme for Students with Learning Needs programme supports students who are slower learners or have learning needs to access the school’s curriculum. Intervention takes the form of in-class or pull-out learning support.

Temasek Cares – Academic Support Programme for Students with Learning Needs

The Temasek Cares - Academic Support Programme for Students with Learning Needs programme supports students who are academically weaker or have learning needs so that they are better able to access the school’s. Intervention takes the form of in-class or pull-out learning support.

The Temasek Cares- Engage Parents programme engages parents in their child's development and helps build stronger familial ties. The school organises various activities every term to involve the students and their families.

Temasek Cares - Autism Support Programme @ ITE
Partner: Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), Institute of Technical Education
The Temasek Cares - Autism Support Programme provides structured support for students with autism at the Institute of
Technical Education (ITE). This pilot programme helps these students develop better social, educational and mental well-being in ITE so that they are better able to access the curriculum and complete their ITE education.

Temasek Cares - Career Rising
Partner: Mendaki SENSE
The Temasek Cares - Career Rising programme helps Malay/ Muslim workers from low-income families to succeed in Professional, Managerial, and Executive (PME) jobs. Mentors from relevant industries help these workers, recently promoted, to make a successful transition to their new jobs.

Temasek Cares - SAFE (Support Autism through Family Empowerment)
Partner: KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH)
The Temasek Cares - SAFE (Support Autism through Family Empowerment) programme aims to build capabilities in the homes of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) aged 2 - 4. A trans-disciplinary team from KKH will help parents to manage the daily home routines of the child and to create a safe and conducive home environment.

Temasek Cares - ISPPA (Integration Support Programme for Pre-schoolers with Autism)
Partner: National Council of Social Service (NCSS), Rainbow Centre Singapore, and Asian Women's Welfare Association (AWWA)
The Temasek Cares - ISPPA (Integration Support Programme for Pre-schoolers with Autism) provides support for children with mild Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who are in pre-schools to integrate and transition to mainstream education.

Temasek Cares KITS (Kids in Tough Situations)
Partner: KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital
The Temasek Cares - KITS programme is a community-based programme that provides trauma-focused therapy for children with psychological and emotional difficulties arising from trauma. The pilot programme will train school counsellors, community social workers and therapists in trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (TF-CBT).

Temasek Cares- A PLUS (Academic Programme for Learning-Needs and Underprivileged Students)
Partner: Yayasan Mendaki
A programme that helps to build the capability of student care centres to provide tuition and learning needs support to disadvantaged students. Each centre is resourced with more teachers to help students improve their literacy, numeracy and I.T. skills. Students with learning needs receive support from an external learning needs specialist. The programme also provides financial support for needy families.

Temasek Cares- IMPACTT
Partner: KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital
A programme by Temasek Cares and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital to support parents and caregivers of children with developmental needs. The programme caters to parents of children from special schools, pre-schools and the community.

Temasek Cares - TRiC (Technology-assisted Rehabilitation in the Community)
Partner: Agency for Integrated Care
Enabling Day Rehabilitation Centres to increase operational efficiency and improve clinical outcomes for patients.

Transition-To-Work Programme for Disadvantaged Youths
Partner: Bizlink Centre
A programme that helps youths with mild learning or developmental disabilities to secure open employment upon leaving school. Job coaches from Bizlink work with students to identify job opportunities and to help them make the transition from school to the workplace. Employers are also engaged to support the youths and to help them sustain their employment.

A programme to help Assumption Pathway School build capability in managing students with learning disabilities. Learning support specialists such as a literacy coach and an educational psychologist help students with learning needs to better access the curriculum. A family social worker also assists students from dysfunctional families.

Employment Support Services for Graduates of Metta School
Partner: Metta Welfare Association
The programme helps graduates of Metta School, a special school that caters to people with mild intellectual disability, to find jobs and to sustain their employment. A team of counsellors and job placement officers provide support to the graduates and track their progress in the workplace.

Temasek Cares - EQUATE
Partner: Equestrian Federation of Singapore
The Temasek Cares – EQUATE programme creates new employment opportunities in the equine industry for people with special needs. Trainees receive on-the-job training and support in vocations such as stable hands, grooms, groundskeepers and maintenance crew.

This pilot programme provides community-based healthcare services through a neighbourhood rehabilitation centre and home visits to elderly residents in Tanjong Rhu estate.

A programme by Temasek Cares and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital to support parents and caregivers of children with developmental needs. Parents and caregivers go through a course that teaches them how to build better behaviour in their children.

Temasek Cares - SPICE

Temasek Cares – SPICE (Singapore Programme for the Integrated Care of the Elderly) is a programme that provides integrated and community-based medical, nursing and social services for the frail elderly. The pilot programme provides an alternative to nursing homes so that the elderly can age at home surrounded by their loved ones.

Young Caregivers
Partner: HCA Hospice Care
A programme to nurture the young to be caregivers to the elderly and elderly sick through helping them to develop a sense of empathy towards the elderly and showing them ways of caring. Students from upper primary to tertiary level will participate in educational workshops under their school's curriculum and will have the opportunity to interact with the elderly and elderly sick by visiting hospices and other centres for the elderly.

Temasek Cares - Therapy Outreach Programme for Pre-Schoolers

Temasek Cares - TOPPS is an early-intervention programme for pre-school children with mild to moderate development delays to help them manage their disorder and to be able to progress to mainstream primary schools.
